01 "“Great base for Death Valley” Having stayed in the Valley previously we decided to stay outside this time and the Atomic Inn was a great choice. Reasonably priced and cooler than the Valley. The rooms were great - clean and well appointed with character and 'aliens' as well. We had breakfast at Mels Diner which is just 5 mins walk away and was one of the best we've had in the USA. We also ate at KC's which was also good. If you have time visit the little museum in Beatty - quirky and interesting!" The refurbished rooms in the front were very nicely done. One thing for sure, this place has character and will return. The management tried very hard to make things nice for us. We were even entertained by a burrow who came right up to the porch and stood there looking at us until we fed him an apple. He nodded his appreciation and moved on. Give this place a try.
